Lauren Nasci - Community Engagement Director Lauren Nasci was born in Rio Rancho, NM where she trained at several studios until she moved to Wisconsin and trained at Makaroff’s Ballet School and Milwaukee Ballet School. She went to Butler University where she graduated in 2014 with a degree in Dance Performance and Mathematics. After graduation she moved to Dayton, OH and danced with Dayton Contemporary Dance Company’s Second Company. Lauren moved back to Indianapolis in 2016 to dance with Ballet Theatre of Indiana where she not only danced but also worked on the administrative team. In 2020, Lauren and 4 others founded Ballet INitiative.

Christina Voreis – Executive Director Christina Voreis was born in Fort Wayne, IN where she trained at Fort Wayne Ballet. She went to Butler University where she graduated in 2014 with a degree in Dance Performance and a minor in Communication Sciences and Disorders. After graduation she moved to DC and danced with Dissonance Dance Theatre and ArasDance. Christina moved back to Indianapolis in 2016 to dance with Ballet Theatre of Indiana where she not only danced but also worked on the administrative team. In 2020, Christina and 4 others founded Ballet INitiative.
